Lemminkäinen constructs new office building for Konecranes Plc

LEMMINKÄINEN CONSTRUCTS NEW OFFICE BUILDING FOR KONECRANES PLC

Lemminkäinen is constructing a new office building for the lifting equipment
manufacturer Konecranes Plc in Hyvinkää, Finland. The new office building is
located next to Konecranes's existing logistics facility. Construction work has
already started and the building will be completed in summer 2011. 

The new office building has a gross floor area of approx. 4,500 m2 and volume
of 20,100 m3. Particular attention has been paid to material selections,
lighting and technical building services in the high-quality design of the
four-storey building. 

In recent years Lemminkäinen has carried out a number of notable
non-residential building projects in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area. Projects
completed in 2009 included Fennia Mutual's Business Center Pasilan Visio in the
Länsi-Pasila district of Helsinki as well as the head office complex of Varma
Mutual, Sampo Bank and Lemminkäinen in Salmisaari. In May 2010 Lemminkäinen and
Etera signed an agreement on the construction of an office building in the
Töölönlähti district of Helsinki. The principal tenant of that building will be
Alma Media Oyj.
