The project will be realised as an alliance project according to Senate Properties’ priority project model and the value of the project is over EUR 20 million. The construction will begin in September 2016 and the project will be completed in January 2018.

The project consists of the renovation and extension of the former cookhouse and exercise building in the Hennala garrison area into Lahti's main police station. The building was originally constructed in 1973. The project’s total area is approximately 11,000 square metres.

During the project, safe and healthy premises are created for the Häme Police Department according to the police station concept. The new, functional premises will meet modern technical and financial requirements realised in a cost-efficient way.
