YIT continues the construction of XTX Markets’ data center campus in Kajaani - delivers the fit-out and MEP works for the third data center

YIT and XTX Markets have signed an agreement for the interior finishing phase, building services engineering (MEP), and commissioning of the third data center in Kajaani. The agreement follows the successful completion of the shell and core phase for the facility. The parties have agreed not to disclose the contract value. The latest phase will start in late 2026.

The data center complex to be built in Kajaani is part of XTX Markets’ broader investment program, which aims to secure the company’s future computing capacity. The company has previously announced plans to invest more than EUR 1 billion in developing a state-of-the-art data center campus in Kajaani.

YIT is delivering three data centers for XTX Markets in Kajaani. The companies agreed on the construction of the first data center in 2024, and the second data center was announced in 2025. YIT announced the construction of the third data center in July 2026.
