YIT has won several paving contracts in Finland, Sweden and Norway

YIT has been successful in the competitive tendering early in the year and has won several government paving contracts in Finland, Sweden and Norway. Approximately EUR 70 million of the contracts won will be recorded in the order backlog for the first quarter of the year. The remaining part of the government paving contracts won will be recorded in the order backlog for the second quarter of the year.
The following contracts will be recorded in the order backlog for the first quarter of the year.
In Finland, YIT has won ELY centre contracts in Southwest Finland, Pirkanmaa, and North Savo. The total volume of the contracts in terms of asphalt mass is approximately 165,000 tons.
In addition to government paving contracts, YIT will carry out the paving of Helsinki Airport and the airports at Tampere-Pirkkala and Kittilä in 2019. The total volume of these contracts in terms of asphalt mass is around 70,000 tons.
In Norway, YIT has won a total of 13 government contracts in Eastern, Western, Southern and Northern Norway. The total volume of the contracts in terms of asphalt mass is approximately 270,000 tons.
In Sweden, YIT has won the Swedish Transport Agency’s contracts in the Stockholm region and in Central and Northern Sweden. The total volume of the contracts in terms of asphalt mass is approximately 150,000 tons.
