YIT AWARDED FOR BEST INVESTOR RELATIONS IN EUROPE

The survey, conducted annually through an online survey and telephone interviews among 500 European analysts and portfolio managers, charts the level of investor relations from the point of view of parties that make investment decisions.
“We consider it important to serve investors openly during all economic trends, and our aim is to develop our operations continuously,” says Hanna-Maria Heikkinen, Vice President, Investor Relations.
“For example, we have begun to publish an IR blog on our Web site, making up our newest channel for distributing topical information on themes related to YIT and that are of interest to investors,” Heikkinen continues.
YIT’s fellow nominees in the construction & materials sector were Cimpor from Portugal and Holcim from Switzerland. Previous award winners for best company in the sector include VINCI from France (2011) and CRH from Ireland (2010).
