HANNA-MARIA HEIKKINEN APPOINTED AS YIT'S VICE PRESIDENT IN CHARGE OF INVESTOR RELATIONS

 HANNA-MARIA HEIKKINEN APPOINTED AS YIT'S VICE PRESIDENT IN CHARGE OF INVESTOR    RELATIONS                                                                       

M.Sc. (Econ.) Hanna-Maria Heikkinen, 31, has been appointed YIT's Vice           President, Investor Relations. The appointment takes effect on June 1, 2010.     Prior to starting her career at YIT, Ms Heikkinen worked as an Equity Analyst    with Nordea Markets. Ms Heikkinen worked in diverse tasks in banking and         investment operations at Nordea since 2001, for example as Vice President in     charge of corporate customers.                                                  

Ms Heikkinen will report to Timo Lehtinen, Chief Financial Officer.
