Lemminkäinen sells deck coating business

LEMMINKÄINEN SELLS DECK COATING BUSINESS

Lemminkäinen has sold its Finnish deck coating business, a part of its Infrastructure Construction segment, to SPT Painting Oy, a company based in Lappeenranta. The parties have agreed that the purchase price will not be disclosed.

Five employees under fixed-term employment contracts and a clerical employee will transfer to SPT Painting Oy.

In line with its strategy, Lemminkäinen is streamlining its business and focusing on its growth areas. Under the new owner, the deck lining business will have improved development opportunities.
