SUBSCRIPTION FOR YIT SHARES BY EXERCISING THE 2002 SERIES C SHARE OPTIONS FROM MAY 6 TO JUNE 17, 2004

Through the exercise of the 2002 Series C share options, after the previous entry in the Trade Register on May 6, 2004, a total of 78,060 YIT Corporation shares have been subscribed for by June 17, 2004.

Each Series C share option entitles its holder to subscribe for two YIT Corporation shares having a nominal value of one euro. The subscription price is EUR 6.545 per share.

The increase in the share capital as a consequence of these share subscriptions, EUR 78,060, is to be entered in the Trade Register on June 28, 2004.
