YIT Corporation has on May 24, 2010 gained knowledge of notification under the Finnish Securities Market Act stating that following a share transaction on May 21, 2010 holdings of Varma Mutual Pension Insurance Company has increased to over 5% of YIT Corporation's shares and votes. The company holds a total of 6,570,908 YIT shares which equals to 5.17 per cent of YIT Corporation's shares.
