NEW HEAD OFFICE FOR LEMMINKÄINEN AT SALMISAARI IN 2009
PREMISES TO BE OWNED BY VARMA AND BUILT BY PALMBERG

Lemminkäinen will move into its new head office in the Salmisaari
district of Helsinki in summer 2009. The premises will be leased
from Varma Mutual Pension Insurance Company. The new head office
will be part of an approx. 66,000 square meter office building
project that Varma is developing.

Construction work will begin in June 2006 and the project will be
completed in phases. Varma’s own premises will be ready in summer
2008, and phase II will be completed at the end of the same year.
The phase III works, which will become Lemminkäinen’s new head
office, will be completed in June 2009.

The contract for the office building project has been signed by
Lemminkäinen’s subsidiary Alfred A. Palmberg and Varma. The
contract is worth about EUR 100 million.

Lemminkäinen head office has been based at its present location in
West Pasila since 1984. All of the Group’s Pasila functions will
be moved to the new premises.
