LEMCON TO BUILD MILL FOR STORA ENSO IN RUSSIA

Lemcon Ltd of the Lemminkäinen Group has signed a project
management agreement with Stora Enso Packaging Oy’s Russian
subsidiary concerning the construction of 26,000 m2 corrugated
board mill in Russia. The mill will be built in the town of
Lukhovitsy, which is situated 130 kilometres south-east of Moscow.
The work in Lukhovitsy will start immediately, and the mill will
be completed at the end of 2007. The contract is worth EUR 20.1
million.

This will be Stora Enso’s third corrugated board mill in Russia.
Earlier projects completed by Lemcon for Stora Enso in Russia have
included the Impilahti and Nebolchi sawmills and a corrugated
board mill at Arzamas. These projects were completed in 2003-2004.

-The wood processing industry has a lot of investment plans in
Russia for the coming years. Lemcon’s standing as a builder on
this market is good, states Lemcon Ltd’s Managing Director
