Lemminkäinen has signed a contract with Boliden to build an ore crushing plant at the Aitik mine, located near the town of Gällivare in northern Sweden. The project will start in June 2016 and will be completed in June 2017.

Lemminkäinen is responsible for the execution of the project, including concrete works, earth works and construction steel works. Boliden Aitik is one of the largest copper mines in Europe.
