Lemminkäinen wins two infrastructure contracts in Norway

LEMMINKÄINEN WINS TWO INFRASTRUCTURE CONTRACTS IN NORWAY

Lemminkäinen has signed contracts for two infrastructure projects, to be carried out near Bergen and Tisleifjord in Southern Norway.

Lemminkäinen will be participating in a project on the Bergen ring road, whose main contractor is AF Gruppen. Lemminkäinen´s contract includes a bridge, 70 m in length, three technical buildings, and 16 links between two tunnels. Work on the project began in January, with the completion being scheduled for late November 2013. The total value of the contract is about EUR 4 million.

At Tisleifjord Lemminkäinen will renovate an old dam while also building a new power plant on a downstream of the dam. Work begins in April 2013, with the project running until summer 2015. The total value of the contract is about EUR 10 million.
