Lemminkäinen paves a highway in Denmark

LEMMINKÄINEN PAVES A HIGHWAY IN DENMARK

Lemminkäinen and M. J. Eriksson have sign an agreement on the paving work of the two first work phases of the highway to be constructed around the city of Silkeborg in Denmark. The paving work will begin in the autumn and is scheduled for completion in September - October 2014. The total value of the paving work is approximately EUR 15 million.

M. J. Eriksson is one of Denmark's largest infrastructure constructors. The city of Silkeborg is located in central Jutland, and the total length of the highway to be built around the city is approximately 28 kilometres, of which Lemminkäinen will now pave 12 kilometres. The total asphalt volume of the contract is about 240,000 tonnes.
