Lemminkäinen to construct production premises for Paccor in Hämeenlinna

LEMMINKÄINEN TO CONSTRUCT PRODUCTION PREMISES FOR PACCOR IN HÄMEENLINNA

Lemminkäinen will construct production premises for packaging manufacturer Paccor Finland Oy, in the Moreeni industrial park in Hämeenlinna. The premises' surface area will be 21,000 sqm², with a cubic capacity of approximately 250,000 m³. Lemminkäinen will launch the construction work as a turnkey project in October 2011. The completed building will be handed over to the client, real estate company Morpac Oy, in September 2012.

As part of the Huhtamäki Group, Paccor Finland has a long history of manufacturing food packaging. The packaging business's Finnish unit has been operating under the name of Paccor Finland Oy since spring 2011. Through the new plant investment, all of the company's current operations will move to the Moreeni area.

Since 2004, Lemminkäinen has built logistics centres in the Moreeni area for Tammer-Tukku Oy, Nanso Group Oy, Iittala Group Oy, Megahub Oy and Etra Oy. Construction work on a production plant in Moreeni, for drinks can manufacturer Can Pack S.A., will be completed in spring 2012.
