LEMMINKÄINEN LANDS A CONTRACT TO BUILD A TECHNICAL BASE FOR ESPOO

Lemminkäinen has signed a contract agreement to build a technical base for the City of Espoo. The client is SEB Leasing Oy, which will lease the facility to the City of Espoo.

The technical base will be built in the Mikkelä area of Espoo, next to Ring Road III. The total size of the project is about 9,500 gross square metres, of which work, office and staff facilities account for around 5,200 m² and cold storage and other storage facilities for approximately 4,300 m². The contract includes large-scale foundation and piling works.

Construction will start at the beginning of April 2011 and the building will be completed in June 2012. This turnkey project is valued at EUR 13.6 million.
