Lemminkäinen receives two contracts in Kokkola

LEMMINKÄINEN RECEIVES TWO CONTRACTS IN KOKKOLA

Lemminkäinen has received two significant contracts. The combined value of the
contracts for Port Tower centre to be built off Satamatie road in Kokkola and
city's new wastewater treatment plant is approx. EUR 11 million. 

Port Tower will be the reception and information centre for Kokkola's port and
industrial area. The centre will also have office space for companies. The
gross floor area of the project is approx. 3,800 m2 and the building's tower
will have eight floors. The client is Kokkolan Teollisuuskylä Oy. 

The gross volume of Kokkola's Hopeakivenlahti wastewater treatment plant is
approx. 16,865 m3. The contract includes the plant's basins, pump houses and
the construction engineering works of other buildings. The client is
Liikelaitos Kokkolan Vesi. 

Lemminkäinen Talo Oy Forsström will start construction work on both sites in
May 2010. Port Tower will be completed in April 2011 and the wastewater
treatment plant in late summer 2011.

our employment situation deep into 2011," says Managing Director Tony
