Robert Öhman appointed CFO of Lemminkäinen Corporation with effect from May 9, 2009

ROBERT ÖHMAN APPOINTED CFO OF LEMMINKÄINEN CORPORATION WITH EFFECT FROM MAY 9,
2009 

Mr. Robert Öhman, M.Sc. (Econ.), b. 1959 has been appointed Chief Financial
Officer of Lemminkäinen Corporation with effect from May 9, 2009. He will
report to CEO Timo Kohtamäki and will be a member of Lemminkäinen Group's
Executive Board. 

Mr Öhman joins Lemminkäinen from Sponda Plc where he has served as Chief
Financial Officer since 2006. 

Lemminkäinen Corporation's present CFO, Mr Jukka Ovaska, will continue as
executive advisor as of May 9, 2009. Based on the company's group pension
agreement, he will retire in the beginning of 2010 when he has turned 60 years
old.
