Real estate deals worth EUR 200 million for Lemminkäinen

REAL ESTATE DEALS WORTH EUR 200 MILLION FOR LEMMINKÄINEN
 
At the turn of the year, building construction subsidiaries of Lemminkäinen
Group have sold 21 real estate properties worth approximately EUR 200 million
to Finnish real estate investors. The sold properties include completed and
unfinished shopping centres and commercial and office buildings in different
parts of Finland. Just under a half of the deals concern properties still under
construction. These will be completed during the years 2009 and 2010. 

“Interest of foreign investors in Finnish real estate properties has declined
due to the international economic and financial crisis. These new deals prove
that traditional domestic institutions and private investors continue to invest
in good real estate properties,” says the Managing Director of Lemminkäinen
Talo Oy, Juha Nurmi. 

The transactions will not affect the assessment of Lemminkäinen's future
outlook as outlined in the interim financial review released on 6 November
2008.
