LEMMINKÄINEN TO BUILD TÖÖLÖNLAHTI UNDERGROUND PARKING FACILITY AND CIVIL
DEFENCE SHELTER

Lemminkäinen Group's Lemminkäinen Infra Oy has been awarded the contract for
the construction works of the Töölönlahti underground parking facility and
civil defence shelter in Helsinki. Work will begin in spring 2010 and
Lemminkäinen's contract will be completed in summer 2012. The contract is worth
about EUR 35 million.

In connection with the contract, new service facilities for Finlandia Hall will
also be built. The underground parking facility will have connections to both
Finlandia Hall and a new concert hall that is currently under construction. The
rock cavern to be constructed under the design&build contract will have parking
spaces for 650 cars in normal use or 3,800 people in its civil defence role.
Once the new facility has been completed, it will take over the role of
providing parking for Finlandia Hall.

"Lemminkäinen has been building underground car parks, civil defence shelters
and service facilities since the 1970s. We have built underground car parks in
the downtown areas of not only Helsinki but also Turku and Tampere," says
Director Petri Kotkansalo of Lemminkäinen Infra Oy.

The client is HKR-Rakennuttaja. The developer of the parking facility is
Töölönlahden pysäköinti Oy and the developer of Finlandia Hall's service
facilities is the City of Helsinki's Real Estate Department.

Lemminkäinen is presently building the P-Hämppi parking facility in the centre
of Tampere. Lemminkäinen was also involved in the construction of the recently
completed service tunnel in downtown Helsinki.
