Lemminkäinen wins Turku University Hospital contracts

Palmberg TKU Oy and Tekmanni Oy of the Lemminkäinen Group have signed contracts 
for the phase I works of Helsinki University Hospital's T2 project. The         
contracts were signed with the Intermunicipal Hospital District of Southwest    
Finland on 21 June 2007.                                                        

Palmberg TKU Oy will act as the general contractor for the project, which is    
worth EUR 26.8 million and encompasses a gross floor area of 22 360 m2. The     
contract involves the construction of a seven-storey surgical and ward building 
as well as the modernisation of a four-storey building. The modernisation work  
includes the construction of two additional floors for the building.            

Tekmanni Oy will carry out the hospital project's phase I electrical and        
ventilation works.                                                              

Construction work was started at the beginning of June 2007 and is due to be    
completed in February 2010.
