LEMCON WINS CONTRACTS WORTH EUR 40 MILLION IN RUSSIA

Lemminkäinen Group's Lemcon Ltd has won significant new construction contracts  
in Russia.                                                                      

Lemcon and H+H International A/S, a Danish manufacturer of lightweight concrete 
elements, have signed an agreement to build a 13,500 m2 lightweight concrete    
production plant some 75 kilometres southwest of St. Petersburg in the Volosovo 
district of Leningrad Oblast.                                                   

An office and logistics centre of approx. 10,000 m2 is to be built in Moscow for
Tikkurila, the company responsible for Kemira Group's paints and coatings       
business.                                                                       

Lemcon will also carry out the technical construction works for the enlargement 
of Nokian Tyres's production plant in St. Petersburg. The gross floor area of   
the plant extension is 33,000 m2.                                               

The combined value of the new construction contracts is approx. EUR 40 million. 
Work has already begun on the building sites and the contracts will be completed
during 2008.                                                                    

”The growth of industrial investments in Russia is significantly boosting demand
for Lemcon's special expertise in the country,” says Lemcon's Export Director   
Juha Höyhtyä.
