In the new Property Development segment, we will focus in particular on self-build modern office and logistics space, hybrid projects in dense urban environments, commercial space and development of social infrastructure premise like schools, daycare centers, healthcare and assisted living buildings. Our expertise also covers the development of wind power plants.
Focus of the business
As an essential part of property development and construction, we can take responsibility for the lifetime maintenance of your property through our Facility Management Services, for up to 25-40 years. Several cities and municipalities are already our customers. Our aim is to ensure that the condition and value of the property is maintained and the costs of operation are minimised throughout the life cycle of the project. In addition to construction, we rent new modern office space, but we also provide companies with new Workery+ work environments and remote working facilities with hotel-level services to support their changing work needs.
We offer attractive and diversified property and fund investment opportunities and work in long-term cooperation with property owners and investors. For large, long-term projects, we work with our investor partners to increase our investment capacity. In property investment projects, we seek attractive returns on invested capital, and ambitious environmental criteria are part of our approach to ensuring financial success.
We are committed to reducing emissions from both our own operations and our value chain and have joined the Science Based Targets (SBTi) initiative to limit global warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius. The properties we develop are typically certified with BREEAM or LEED certificates. The design aims to minimise the carbon emissions and environmental impact of both the construction and operational phases of the buildings.
