The Lake Puula water wilderness tempts you to try paddling and boating, making expeditions to the islands, swimming on your own stretch of shore and the neighbouring coves. Nature trails, summer theatre and several village festivals also welcome visitors. The popular Syvälahti dance pavilion offers top performers and karaoke stars. In wintertime, forest and lake trails are open for cross-country skiers; winter swimming is another option, when clean snow covers the land.
