Gas Upgrading

YIT Environment has delivered several landfill gas plants.

The gas generated naturally in a landfill will be collected which minimizes the environmental impact of free methane gas.

YIT builds biogas upgrading plants with capacity 100 - 2000 Nm3/h. The technique consists of PSA-technology for smaller plants and wet scrubbing technique for bigger plants (200 -2000 Nm3/h).

The product gas can be used as fuel for cars, busses or gasturbines.The gas can also be produced into the natural gas grid, if available.

YIT can supply the whole product range from producing gas to the filling nozzle at busses.
