Waste management construction is demanding as regards the landscape and the environment. The waste management centre must be located on a dense, earth base which can bear heavy loads.
Construction commences with the protection of the soils and of aquiefers. The base of the waste infill is constructed to be dense, with packing layers and base structures. Waste waters are led off for cleansing and a gas collection system is constructed for refuse dump gas recovery.
Surface, drying and sealing layers are built on top of the waste infill. The uncontrolled flow of refuse dump gases and infiltration waters is prevented.

Our waste management construction includes: - Construction of new waste management centres - Renovation of refuse dumps already in use - Closure of old refuse dumps and their reclamation, having regard for landscape and environmental factors - Vertical cut of walls of sealing HDPE geo membrane
Procedures for improving polluted land: - Replacement with clean earth - Insulation and encapsulation with e.g. stabilising and earth concrete equipment - Washing - Composting
In addition our waste management construction includes the construction of reclaimed land, using industrial by-products. The use of earth material can be reduced by making structure layers of, for instance, crushed brick, concrete and glass waste. |
